  19. If you use these macros, fill the registration form at the end of
  20. this file, and send in $1.97 registration fee.

  22. Why only $1.97?
  23. That’s simple mathematics!
  24. It costs very little to send out a disk with the latest version
  25. of these programs but it does cost _something_. I figure that
  26. between the cost of the disk and the label ($.50 + $.05), the
  27. envelope ($.25) and the postage ($.50), I’ll spend more than a
  28. dollar ($1.25) but less than two dollars.
  29. Therefore, I’m asking more than a dollar but less than two
  30. dollars and $1.97 is as good a number as any. 
  31. Also, I want an idea.

  33. What’s this about “an idea?” 
  34. These macros work for me - one person of the great number who use
  35. Vantage. I will develop more ideas for macros but, as another
  36. user of Vantage, your needs are different. 
  37. If you send me a good idea for a macro, I can probably write it
  38. for you. With evertone's ideas coming in, I can build a better
  39. product for users of this great product.
  40. If you don’t have an idea for a macro then just tell me what
  41. types of things you do with Vantage and I’ll try to take it from
  42. there.

  44. Future upgrades will be mailed _only_ to registered users. Once
  45. you send in your $1.97 for this program, I will send you the next
  46. upgrade on a floppy. When you register that version, you get
  47. another upgrade. Since there will be additional room on the disk,
  48. I will send along a few other shareware and PD goodies as well.

  50. How can I stop you from downloading the new versions?
  51. I really can't but I believe that once you use these macros, you
  52. will spring $1.97 loose. Unfortunately, if you’re feeling cheap
  53. you probably won’t send in your registration fee and you won't
  54. get any disks.
  55. Even worse, you won’t send in you ideas and so we all lose.

  57. Please enjoy this product. It has saved me a lot of time and made
  58. my use of Vantage more productive - I'm sure it will do the same
  59. for you.

  105. This section explains the functions of Vantage Macros.
  106.  
  107. For detailed information on how to load the macros, consult your
  108. owners manual. Briefly, this is how it's done:
  109. 1. Move the Macros for Vantage file into the System Folder.
  110. 2. Load the macros into the program via the "Load Macro File..."
  111. command in the Macros menu.
  112. 3. Once they have been loaded, you can tell Vantage to load them
  113. every time you use it by selecting the command "Install Default
  114. Macros".
